Plasma PT31 cutting tips, also known as nozzles, constrict the gas/air flow through the orifice in the centre of the nozzle that focuses the plasma arc which directly effects the cutting thickness. The orifice should be a perfect circle for optimal cutting and not an oval. The tips are not normally interchangeable between different brands and size of torches. Ensure you choose the correct tip for your cutting application, torch and thickness.
