The PARWELD XP8 MIG nozzles are precision engineering for maximum wall thickness which gives longevity and superior performance. The nozzle, also known as a shroud, is used to keep the gas at the weld puddle. Depending on a few things for example material type, material thickness, gas type, gas flow rate, machine settings will determine what kind of weld quality you will have. If the nozzle builds up from spatter or gets damaged due to miss use, wear and tear or overheating, it can cause the shielding process to be uncontrolled and can result in poor welding, lack of penetration and increased spatter to name a few. To help the nozzle cleaning process, you can use a little silicon antispatter spray that can make removing the spatter easier. You can also take the nozzle off the MIG torch and gently use a wirebrush to clean off the spatter build-up.
