PARWELD XP LINER CONDUIT 1.0-1.2 X 4M

R109.85 incl VAT

This is sold in packaging of 1 unit and the price is for 1 unit.

The PARWELD XP8 liner is a very important component in protecting your MIG torch from serious damages. The purpose of a liner is to guide the wire through the MIG torch to the contact tip. Choosing the correct liner is vital to maintain a good wire feed and welding. A few criteria to keep in mind is the wire thickness, torch length and the wire type. If the liner is too small for the wire being used, it will not feed. If the liner is too big for the wire being used, then the wire could eventually fold in the liner due to lack of column strength in thinner wire. Another common feeding issue is when the liner is cut too short. Even if its slightly short it can cause issues. It should fit flush against the contact tip. The final example of wire feeding issues are due to the normal wear and tear. The wire rubs against the liner inside and it starts to clog up and eventually causes feeding issues. Any such feeding restrictions can cause bird-nesting inside the liner which is one of the most time consuming and expensive task to do. The liner has a standard universal euro fitting at the adaptor end.
